VOP, CC join hands to lend free clothes to youth

LAHORE: Voice of Punjab (VOP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Career Clothing in a formal ceremony in Lahore on Friday.

VOP project director, Career Clothing Founder Enem Ali Abbas and Co-founder Mohsin Mumtaz signed the agreement.

Speaking at the occasion, Mohsin said: “Career Clothing was conceived with an aim to provide rent-free formal clothes for business meetings, interviews and conferences to a small circle of people. By venturing into an MoU with VOP, Career Clothing would also provide rent-free formal clothes to young students soon. We would only charge dry cleaning cost and nothing else.”

Enem said: “I know many young graduates, who do not have formal clothes to wear for their job interviews. An employer not only rates resume or expertise but also gauges that how a candidate carries himself during interview. Same happens for presentations at university level. Personality grooming is essential for career growth.”

The VOP project director said that many young graduates are in their struggling phase. “We do not take them as a challenge but as an opportunity. The potential of youth would only be unleashed by making joint efforts,” he said.
