Civil service shuffle

ISLAMABAD: Postings and transfers of the senior officers were made in the federal bureaucracy on Wednesday. Iftikhar Ali Shallwani, a BPS-21 officer of the Pakistan Administrative Service, was transferred to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa while the services of Usman Muazzam, a BPS-20 officer of the PAS cadre, were assigned to the Sindh government.

Shallwani was previously serving as an officer on special duty (OSD).

The establishment division notified the postings and transfers of the senior cadre officers in the federal bureaucracy.

Irum Bukhari, a BPS-21 officer of the PAS cadre, has been appointed as director-general of the National Institute of Management in Quetta.

The services of Muazzam were assigned to the Sindh government. He was seeking an appointment in the Establishment Division, however.

The Establishment Division has issued separate notifications in this regard.
