Spotify spotlights Samar Jafri as RADAR Pakistan artist

KARACHI: Spotify has selected singer and actor Samar Jafri as its RADAR Pakistan artist for the fourth quarter of 2025, marking a new milestone in his growing musical career.

Known for his heartfelt vocals and emotionally resonant lyrics, Jafri has quickly become one of the leading young voices in Pakistan’s pop scene. His recent singles, Main Rahun and Guzaarishein, have together surpassed 23.3 million streams, with Main Rahun alone recording over 14 million plays.

Over the past month, Jafri’s audience has expanded beyond Pakistan, with growing listeners from Bangladesh, the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, and the UAE. Spotify data shows that over half his listeners are aged between 18 and 24, reflecting his strong connection with younger audiences who identify with his introspective sound.

Speaking about the recognition, Jafri said it felt like the start of a long-held dream, adding that his journey has been built on patience and persistence. He described sharing his story through the platform as one of the defining moments of his year.

Having written and produced music for more than six years, Jafri’s style blends modern pop with lyrical honesty, earning him a dedicated following among young listeners.
