Pakistani, Kashmiri & Sikh communities protest in front of Indian Embassy in Washington

WASHINGTON: Pakistani, Kashmiri and Sikh communities, living in the United States, staged a protest in front of the Indian Embassy in Washington.

The call for the protest was given by Friends of Kashmir Chairperson Ghazala Habib. Overseas Pakistanis, Kashmiri organizations and leaders of the Khalistan movement participated in the protest.

The protesters raised slogans such as Modi is a terrorist, Modi’s Pahalgam drama, Kashmiris’ freedom movement will continue and Ban Ke Rahega Khalistan.

The protesters also carried placards and banners with slogans against the Modi government. On the occasion, Friends of Kashmir Chairperson Ghazala Habib, Sikh For Justice central leader Balwinder Singh Chatha, Kashmiri community leader Muhammad Zubair Khan, Dr Ashir Hussain, Mazhar Chughtai and others spoke.

The speakers said the Pahalgam incident was actually a false flag operation by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which has been proven over time. “We condemn the terrorism of the Indian government and the Indian intelligence agency. The world has come to know who benefited from the Pahalgam terrorist attack,” they added.

They said during President Clinton’s visit in March 2000, Indian agencies had also staged a murderous drama. 35 Sikhs were massacred in Chittisinghpura to spread propaganda against Pakistan. It was done under pretense and planning during the visit of US Vice President JD Vance to India in Pahalgam.

The speakers further said that an FIR was registered ten minutes after the Pahalgam incident. How could such a major attack take place in the most stringent security four hundred kilometers away? And the attackers suddenly disappeared.

They said for the past seven and a half decades, India has occupied a large area of ??Jammu and Kashmir, but it is very regrettable that the international community is silent on this usurping occupation of India and this aggressive and cruel Indian attitude against the Kashmiris.
