Jennifer Lopez Snubs Shakira, Removing Her From Super Bowl Tribute Video

Jennifer Lopez looked back on her 2020 Super Bowl performance but noticeably left out Shakira in the clips she shared on Instagram on Sunday. Despite co-headlining the halftime show, Lopez did not include any footage of the “Waka Waka” singer in her nostalgic post.

Lopez previously voiced her frustration over sharing the stage in her Netflix documentary, calling the arrangement “the worst idea in the world.” She expressed disappointment at not being given a solo performance, believing the show should not have required two headliners.

Despite her reservations, the 2020 Super Bowl halftime show received critical acclaim and became the most-streamed Super Bowl performance on YouTube that year.
