Silent disease

Depression is a silent disease that can affect any individual. It impacts the mental, physical and emotional abilities of the people, and may compel them to harm themselves. While we cannot determine the specific causes of depression, it is highly prevalent among youngsters, especially university students. Academic stress, pressure of maintaining good grades, financial challenges and favouritism in classrooms are some of the common causes behind depression among students.
