An intersection on Khayaban-i-Bahria in Phase IV of Defence Housing Authority (DHA) area of Karachi remains clogged with traffic in the evening. It takes me around 30 minutes to get there from the Stadium Road, but I have to spend as much time crossing that inter- section alone. While motorists continue to shout at each other out of frustration, the traffic police force remains missing from the scene. At least two traffic constables are required at the spot during peak hours daily.
