The population of stray dogs has increased manifold across Karachi regardless of the socioeconomic status of the locality. One can see these animals roaming the streets in large numbers, forcing the people to live with the constant fear of getting bitten. There is a specific department within Karachi Metropolitan Corpo-ration (KMC) to handle these stray dogs, but it apparently does nothing.
