It seems that theft incidents have gone beyond the capacity of local police to handle them. Take for example a case handed over to a police station in Karachi. A 5kv generator was stolen from Defence Housing Authority (DHA) phase I.
After acquiring the CCTV footage, it was handed over to the investigation officer, but nothing has happened any further thus far. This has left a big question mark on the performance of the department.
Will anyone come forward to tell us where has the investigation reached so far?
