PTI MPA files plea in LHC against police harassment

LAHORE: PTI MPA Zainab Umair has approached to the Lahore High Court against her alleged harassment at the hands of police.

PTI member of Punjab Assembly Zainab Umair submitted a petition to the Lahore High Court on Thursday against her harassment by police. Her application has been fixed for hearing. Justice Anwarul Haq Pannu would hear her case.

In her petition, the PTI MPA has made Punjab IG police and other police officials as respondents.

It is stated in the petition that Punjab police are harassing the female MPA without any reason. The petitioner has requested the court to restrain police from harassing her.
