IESCO announced scheduled power outages Monday across parts of Rawalpindi Cantt and Chakwal circles, with outages from 6:00am–10:00am and other maintenance windows on key feeders and 132kV lines. Service will resume after work ends.

Power cuts scheduled across parts of Rawalpindi and Chakwal

The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced scheduled power outages in parts of Rawalpindi and Chakwal on Monday to carry out routine maintenance and development work.

According to the power utility, electricity supply will remain suspended from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in areas served by the Jarar Camp, Bhall, Jatha Hathial and Basali feeders in the Rawalpindi Cantt Circle.

Consumers connected to the Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO and Katchery feeders in Chakwal Circle will also face power outages during the same hours.

IESCO said maintenance work in the GSO Circle will continue from 6:30 am to 10:30 am on the Neela, Hassal, Balkassar, Kot Chaudhrian, Pipli, Dullaha and Karsal feeders.

In addition, work will be carried out from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan transmission lines. Maintenance will also take place from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore transmission lines, along with associated earth switches and nearby areas.

IESCO said power supply would be restored immediately after the completion of maintenance work and apologised to consumers for the temporary inconvenience.
