Punjab launches online registration guide for Rising Stars Portal
Punjab has launched an online registration guide for the Rising Stars Portal, letting athletes create profiles, upload achievements, and apply for training and mentorship. The platform will build a central database for emerging talent.
The Punjab government has introduced an online registration process for the Rising Stars Portal, a digital platform designed to identify and support talented athletes from across the province.
Developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) in collaboration with the Sports Board Punjab, the portal enables aspiring athletes to create profiles, upload their achievements and become eligible for training, mentorship and talent development opportunities.
To register, applicants must visit the Rising Stars Portal, create an account using their personal details and verify their mobile number. After logging in, users are required to complete their profile by providing information such as their sport, educational background, achievements and contact details.
Applicants can also upload supporting documents, certificates and photographs to strengthen their profiles before submitting the registration form.
The platform covers a wide range of sports, including cricket, football, hockey, badminton, karate and several others, allowing athletes from different disciplines to register.
Officials said the portal aims to create a centralised database of athletes, making it easier to identify emerging talent and connect promising players with professional training and development opportunities.
