Man arrested for impersonating brother in FIA recruitment test

ISLAMABAD: A man has been arrested for allegedly appearing in a Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) recruitment examination in place of his brother.

According to officials, the suspect was caught during the screening process after authorities detected discrepancies in his identity documents and biometric verification.

The examination staff alerted the relevant authorities, who took the suspect into custody for questioning.

An initial investigation found that the accused had allegedly attempted to take the test on behalf of his brother to help him secure employment with the FIA.

Police have registered a case, and further investigations are under way to determine whether anyone else was involved in the impersonation attempt.

Officials reiterated that strict action would be taken against candidates found using fraudulent means during recruitment examinations, warning that such practices undermine the transparency and integrity of the selection process.
