President Zardari leaves for four-day Kyrgyzstan visit today, says Foreign Office
President Asif Ali Zardari is leaving for Kyrgyzstan on a four-day official visit at the invitation of President Sadyr Zhaparov, the Foreign Office said. The trip will include bilateral talks on ties, regional issues and cooperation in key sectors.

ISLAMABAD: President Asif Ali Zardari is departing on Monday for a four-day official visit to Kyrgyzstan at the invitation of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov, according to the Foreign Office.
The Foreign Office said President Zardari will be accompanied by a high-level delegation. It described the trip as the first by a Pakistani president to the Kyrgyz Republic in 21 years and said it marked a significant point in bilateral ties.
During the visit, President Zardari is scheduled to hold a one-on-one meeting with President Zhaparov as well as delegation-level talks. The Foreign Office said the two sides will review the full range of Pakistan-Kyrgyzstan relations and exchange views on regional and international issues of mutual interest.
The Foreign Office said the visit comes after President Zhaparov’s visit to Pakistan in December 2025 and reflects continued high-level engagement between the two countries. It added that the talks are expected to focus on strengthening cooperation in areas including trade, investment, connectivity and people-to-people contacts.
