Hot, dry spell to persist in most parts of country, says PMD

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast hot and dry weather in most parts of the country on Wednesday, with very hot conditions expected in the plains.

According to the Met Office, isolated rain-wind and thunderstorms may develop during the afternoon in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Kashmir and nearby hilly areas.

In Islamabad and surrounding areas, the department said conditions are likely to remain hot and dry, while the sky may stay partly cloudy. Most districts of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa are also expected to experience hot and dry weather.

The outlook indicates that while much of the country will remain under dry conditions, some upper regions could see brief weather activity later in the day.
