PMD forecasts hot, dry weather across country
The PMD says hot and dry conditions are likely across most of Pakistan during the next 24 hours. Central and southern parts are expected to remain very hot, while isolated rain and thunderstorms may occur in upper areas.

ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast mainly hot and dry weather in most parts of the country over the next 24 hours, with central and southern areas expected to remain very hot.
The department said rain-windstorms and thunderstorms are likely at isolated places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Gilgit-Baltistan, Kashmir and adjoining hilly regions.
Morning temperatures recorded in major cities were 23°C in Islamabad, 29°C in Lahore and Karachi, 27°C in Peshawar, 19°C in Quetta, 21°C in Muzaffarabad, and 14°C in Gilgit and Murree.
For Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir, the forecast said Srinagar is expected to see partly cloudy and dry weather.
