Nishtar Hospital Multan has terminated the house job of Dr Ali Osama over alleged objectionable content posted on social media. The health department said such posts violate professional ethics and government regulations.

MULTAN: Nishtar Hospital Multan has terminated the house job of Dr Ali Osama after disciplinary action was initiated over alleged objectionable content posted on social media.
According to the Department of Specialised Healthcare and Medical Education, Dr Ali Osama was working as a paid house officer at the hospital when the material was uploaded from his social media account.
A spokesperson for the department said healthcare professionals are not allowed to share objectionable material on social media platforms, saying such conduct is against professional ethics and government rules.
