Judicial policy body reviews reforms and case disposal at Supreme Court meeting
The National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee met at the Supreme Court on Thursday to review judicial reforms, case disposal and access to justice. Senior judges and government officials attended the 60th session.

ISLAMABAD: The National Judicial (Policy Making) Committee met at the Supreme Court on Thursday to review judicial reforms, the performance of courts in disposing of cases and steps linked to improving access to justice.
The 60th meeting of the committee was chaired by Chief Justice of Pakistan. The session focused on the functioning of the justice system, including progress on reform measures and court disposal performance.
Those in attendance included the chief justices of the Lahore High Court, Peshawar High Court and Sindh High Court, as well as the senior puisne judge of the Islamabad High Court. Senior government representation was also present through the Secretary of the Ministry of Law and Justice.
The meeting was further attended by the chairman of the Higher Education Commission, bringing together judicial and government officials for discussions on policy matters concerning the justice sector.
