RAWALPINDI: On the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, observed on the night of May 6/7, the Pakistan Armed Forces—particularly the Pakistan Air Force (PAF)—commemorated a defining moment in the country’s military history, highlighting operational excellence, technological advancement, and unwavering commitment to national defence.
The milestone, described as a symbol of strengthened national confidence and institutional resolve, reflects PAF’s continued transformation into a future-ready air power. Officials emphasised that through the induction of cutting-edge systems and the rapid integration of emerging and disruptive technologies, the force has significantly enhanced its operational capabilities.
Central to this evolution is the adoption of multi-domain operations, enabling seamless coordination across air, land, sea, cyber, and space domains. The successful execution of such operations—termed unprecedented in scope—has reinforced PAF’s standing as a modern, agile and capable force prepared to meet the demands of contemporary warfare.
The Armed Forces reiterated that Pakistan remains a peace-loving nation, with its military guided by a responsible and mature strategic outlook. They stressed that all preparations and capabilities are aimed at preserving peace, ensuring stability, and safeguarding sovereignty, while maintaining the principles of honour, dignity and sovereign equality.
Highlighting the evolving regional and global security environment, the statement noted that Pakistan’s defence forces remain fully aware of emerging challenges and adversarial advancements. In response, continued investments are being made in advanced technologies, professional training, and strategic readiness to ensure preparedness for future conflicts.
The Armed Forces affirmed their readiness to respond decisively to any aggression, stating that any hostile designs against Pakistan would be met with greater precision, strength and resolve.
The occasion also served as a tribute to the personnel of the Pakistan Air Force, recognising their professionalism, sacrifice, and operational dedication in defending the country’s airspace.
