ISLAMABAD: Flight operations to Gulf countries have witnessed an uptick across major airports in Pakistan, including Lahore’s Allama Iqbal International Airport, amid improving regional conditions linked to ongoing Iran-US peace developments.
According to official data, 12 flights departed from Lahore to various Gulf destinations during the reported period. Karachi recorded 16 outbound flights, Islamabad 18, Multan 6, and Peshawar 8.
Sources said several international airlines, including Etihad Airways, Qatar Airways, flydubai, Emirates, and Air Arabia, have increased flight frequencies in response to rising passenger demand and easing operational constraints in the region.
