Woman arrested for allegedly robbing parents’ home in Lahore

LAHORE: Police in Lahore have arrested a woman accused of robbing her parents’ house, recovering nearly Rs15 million worth of gold and jewellery, according to officials.

Authorities reported that the woman, identified as the daughter of the victims, was taken into custody following an investigation into a recent burglary at her parents’ residence. The police stated that the recovered items included gold and jewellery valued at close to Rs15 million.

According to officials, three other individuals believed to have assisted in the alleged robbery remain at large. Efforts are underway to apprehend the remaining suspects.

Police said the case came to light after the victims reported the theft from their home. Investigators traced the involvement of the daughter, leading to her arrest and the recovery of the stolen valuables.

Authorities have initiated further legal proceedings and are continuing their search for the three accomplices who have yet to be apprehended.
