ISLAMABAD: Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz and Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari offered measured responses when asked about former US President Donald Trump and the Nobel Prize, following a joint parliamentary session focused on regional security developments.

After the session, a journalist asked whether Trump deserved a Nobel Prize and whether Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s government would continue to support the move in the wake of recent joint US and Israeli airstrikes on Iran.

CM Maryam Nawaz said the prime minister’s primary focus was on managing the evolving situation and taking decisions aligned with Pakistan’s national interest. She did not directly comment on the Nobel Prize question. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari did not address the specific query.
