Pamaal director addresses rumors about Saba Qamar’s ‘botox face’

The popular drama Pamaal has sparked a lot of discussions on social media, particularly regarding a scene featuring Saba Qamar. In the show, Saba plays the character of Malika, whose emotionally abusive marriage to Raza, played by Usman Mukhtar, has resonated with many viewers. Fans of the show have been divided into Malika and Raza camps, with each new episode igniting fresh debates.

Recently, a particular scene in Pamaal caught the attention of viewers when Raza loses his temper and Malika breaks down into tears. However, many fans noticed that Saba Qamar’s face appeared somewhat distorted, leading to rumors that the actress had undergone botox procedures. The “botox crying face” images quickly went viral, sparking widespread speculation.

In response to these rumors, Pamaal‘s director, Khizer Idrees, addressed the issue. He explained that the scene’s lighting and camera angles were not ideal, which contributed to the distorted look viewers noticed. While the lighting was poor, the director emphasized that the scene still felt raw and real, which is why they chose to keep it in the final cut. He clarified that there was no issue with Saba’s appearance, and the perception of botox was a result of the camera angles.

Despite the explanation, the incident has continued to fuel discussions among fans, as Pamaal continues to be a show that captivates audiences with its portrayal of real-life issues within

marriages.
