The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) on Wednesday declared the 2025 results for class 9 examinations, covering both Science and General Groups.
According to the board’s announcement, the Science Group recorded a pass percentage of 78.26%, while the General Group — including both regular and private students — achieved a 54.38% success rate.

Science group continues upward trend
The Science Group maintained its lead in performance, continuing a trend of strong academic outcomes across Karachi schools. The board said outstanding students will be honoured at upcoming award ceremonies.
General group results show gradual improvement
The General Group results reflected moderate progress, particularly among private candidates. Officials added that a detailed report, including a list of top-performing schools and statistical analysis, will be released soon.
