The moon for Rabi ul-Sani 1447 Hijri was not sighted in any part of Pakistan, and therefore, the first day of the Islamic month will officially start on Thursday, September 25, 2025.
A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, chaired by Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad, was held to observe the moon. Simultaneous moon sightings were also conducted in different regions by zonal committees. However, no credible sightings were reported from any of these areas.
Following this, Chairman Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad announced the decision, and the Ministry of Religious Affairs confirmed the date, issuing an official notification. As a result, the 1st of Rabi ul-Sani 1447 AH will be observed on Thursday, September 25.
