Nawaz Sharif leaves London for Pakistan after two-week stay

LONDON: PML-N President and former three-time Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif departed from London on Wednesday, heading back to Pakistan after a two-week stay. He was accompanied by his son Hassan Nawaz, Dr. Adnan, Abid Jan, and Maulvi Shakoor.

As he left his residence in London, Nawaz Sharif was approached by journalists for comments, but he declined to speak, stating, “I have no time to talk as I am getting late.” The former prime minister’s return to Pakistan marks the conclusion of his brief visit abroad.

Sharif had traveled to London earlier in June citing medical reasons. As per reports, his visit followed the advice of his doctors regarding his health condition for which his medical team recommended specialised treatment not available in Pakistan.
