Vanished money

In January this year, I sent some amount of money via mobile transfer through a trusted vendor to someone in Dadu. The vendor sent me the confirmation note of the money having been sent. However, that money has not been received in Dadu yet. The vendor has been chasing it with the head office of the relevant company, but it seems as if amount has simply vanished into thin air. The experience, frankly speaking, has been quite frustrating.
