KARACHI: The families of two ‘disappeared’ persons-Engineer Syed Mumtaz Rizvi and Syed Abbas Samar-from Karachi have heard nothing but silence from provincial government and security officials, reported a local English newspaper.
According to details, Rizvi who ran a computer hardware business went to Quetta on a “business trip” on January 23 and his family has heard nothing about him since then.
Meanwhile, Abbas-an IT expert by profession-also disappeared during his “business trip” to Islamabad on January 7.
The families of both have registered reports in police stations, appealed Sindh High Court (SHC) and approached Sindh Interior Minister Sohail Sayyal but have only received silence until now.
