Withdrawal of protocol, security staff from 7 former CM’s ordered

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur’s decision to take back protocol, driver, security from seven former provincial chief ministers is being implemented.

A letter to respective institutions regarding withdrawal of protocol, security and staff from ex CM’s was issued on Thursday. The administration department has sent a letter to the relevant institutions for implementation.

After 2007, the protocol of the chief minister was increased. After implementation of the decision, seven drivers, 56 gunmen and seven officers will return. It was clear that the supervisors and elected former CMs had all privileges while Ali Amin Gandapur decided to end all privileges on March 8.
