Road block

The main road that connects Turbat and Gwadar to other cities of Balochistan and then to the other provinces remained blocked by the residents of Sami for more than a week recently. The protest was a reaction to an incident in which four lives were lost after their vehicle got drowned in the Kech River. As the road has cut off native villages and towns of Turbat, the local people have to face many problems, such as lack of food, health facilities and other necessities that are not being delivered efficiently. Turbat is a major city to which people come from a large number of villages to get their everyday supplies. The relevant authorities should resolve the problem as soon as possible.
