Missing gear

While strolling along the beach recently, I spotted two finely dressed horse-mounted policemen patrolling the area. One of them rushed to have a word with some stranger as he suspected him. After a short inquiry, the policeman returned and joined his fellow rider. It was a nice little moment to watch, but what made me concerned was the unavailability of proper riding gear, like paddock boots and breaches, for the policemen. The department concerned would do well to provide its staff with proper horse-riding gear. The protectors need to be safe themselves,
