PCB congratulates Imran on birthday

LAHORE: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has congratulated former Prime Minister and former captain of the Pakistan Cricket Team Imran Khan on his birthday.

In a congratulatory message on its Twitter account on Thursday morning, the PCB also mentioned Khan’s significant achievements as a cricketer. Khan scored 3,807 runs and took 362 wickets in 88 Test matches, and scored 3,709 runs and took 182 wickets in 175 one-day international matches. He also led Pakistan to victory in the 1992 Cricket World Cup.

“A very happy birthday to PCB Hall of Famer Imran Khan, captain of the World Cup winning team,” the PCB tweeted.

Khan is widely regarded as one of the greatest all-rounders in cricket history. He is also a popular political figure in Pakistan, having served as Prime Minister from 2018 to 2022.
