Rumours regarding ban on Rs5000 currency note unfounded: Solangi

ISLAMABAD: Caretaker Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Murtaza Solangi has termed the rumours regarding the ban on Rs 5,000 currency notes as unfounded and baseless.

Taking to X (former twitter) on Thursday, the minister ruled out fake notification about banning Rs5000 currency notes.

Murtaza Solangi warned that the government would take strict action against those spreading such fake notifications.
