Sindh cabinet approves Rs22b to finish development projects

KARACHI: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah the meeting of the provincial cabinet held in Karachi on Monday during which approval was given for releasing 22 billion rupees to culminate the 243 development projects work on which was stopped due to floods.

Extending the scope of Rapid Response Force to all parts of the province and establishment of a Crowd management unit was also approved during the meeting.

It was also decided in the provincial cabinet meeting that Sindh police will provide security to the Sindh House. The Sindh cabinet also approved release of an amount of eleven million rupees for registration and other related works of 75 acres of land area specified for Hyderabad press club.

A committee to preserve and digitalize the record of different provincial departments was also constituted by the cabinet.
