RAWALPINDI: Security forces killed four terrorists and recovered ammunition and weapons in an Intelligence-Based Operation (IBO) in general area of Jani Khel, Bannu District.
On 31 Dec 22, Security Forces conducted an Intelligence Based Operation in general area Jani Khel, Bannu.
During the conduct of the operation, intense fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists. Own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. Resultantly, four terrorists got killed while weapon and ammunition was also recovered from the killed terrorists.
The killed terrorists remained actively involved in terrorist activities against security forces and killing of innocent citizens.
However, during intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Muhammad Wasim (age 25 years, resident of Khairpur) having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat. Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.
