Technical fault in PTIC optic fibre in Quetta region removed: PTA

Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) on Monday said that a technical fault in the PTCL optic fibre cable that occurred due to flash floods has been removed in Balochistan.

Voice and data services of PTCL, Ufone, and Telenor are working as per normal whereas Jazz and Zong voice services are also operational in the Quetta region, said a news release.

Efforts are underway to restore services in other affected areas.
