Sussex’s wicketkeeping-coach Sarah Taylor praises ‘hardworking’ Mohammad Rizwan

Former England women’s cricketer Sarah Taylor, who is also the wicketkeeping coach of Sussex men’s county cricket team shared her experience of working with Pakistan’s wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan.

Rizwan represented Sussex in the 2022 County Championship and T20 Blast games before joining national squad for Sri Lanka Test series. In a video shared on Twitter, Sarah can be seen having a training session at Hove with  Rizwan.

While sharing his experience about this interaction, Sarah called Rizwan ‘one of the hardest workers’.

“One of the hardest workers I know. An honour to work with. Thank you brother,” she wrote.

It must be noted Sarah retired from international cricket at the age of 30 only. She has been associated with Sussex since last season. In October 2021, Taylor was appointed as an assistant coach at Team Abu Dhabi in T10 League.

She will work as an assistant coach at Manchester Originals for the upcoming season of The Hundred, working with both the men’s and the women’s sides, and had not yet ruled out returning to playing.
