Shahid Afridi to be Brand Ambassador of KPL Season-II

Karachi: Kashmir Premier League has announced on Thursday that, the former captain of Pakistan Shahid Khan Afridi as the Brand Ambassador of the 2nd Season of the League. The official announcement was made during the press conference held in Karachi. The champion cricketer was also being a part and a Brand Ambassador of the defending champions Rawalakot as well. The motive of this mega cricket event is to promote the talent of Kashmir Internationally.

The league is designed to provide a quality platform to the young cricket talent of Azad Jammu and Kashmir through which they can showcase their talent by gaining experience from national and international stars.

The inclusion of a superstar like Shahid Khan Afridi as a Brand Ambassador for the Season 2 of the league will strengthen the quality and brand value of the League as now he has become the face of this League.

Kashmir Premier League’s President Arif Malik has expressed his gladness as Shahid Afridi has become KPL’s Brand Ambassador, considering this to be an auspicious moment for the League, he said that Shahid Khan Afridi is a legendary name from the world of cricket and all around the world people love him, Shahid Afridi has always raised his voice for Kashmir and for the rights of Kashmiris and now he will be serving in Kashmir Premier League as a delegate to preach the message of Kashmiris to the world, Arif Malik further said that Kashmir Premier League is not just a League but a mission by this we want the world to know that in Azad Kashmir the citizens have full freedom and they also play cricket freely besides watching it, Arif Malik cordially welcomes legend Shahid Khan Afridi and he believes this decision will be the motive ensuring success of KPL, and he has shown in confidence in collaborating upon making necessary changes in cricket alongside him.

Arif Malik said that Season 2 will get reinvigorated with celebrations of Pakistan’s Independence Day, Pakistan’s 75th Independence “Diamond Jubilee” will be celebrated with nationwide zeal and zest, on this special occasion Kashmir Premier League will deliver the message of peace to the world “Khelo Dil Se Khelo Azadi Se” this day will also include showtime of splendiferous fireworks.

Prime Global Group of Company’s holder Abdul Wajid has become the new owner of Mirpur Royals Franchise, Kashmir Premier League’s President Arif Malik has warmly received Dr. Abdul Wajid on becoming a part of KPL, and introduced him as Dr. Abdul Wajid said it’s a historic day that I have become a member of Kashmir Premier League and very excited to take charge as the owner of Kashmir’s Mirpur Royals in the League, he further said that KPL cricket League is more than a League to the people of Kashmir and he will voice his support of Kashmiris and their rights all around the world.

Kotli Lions Franchise holder Faisal Nadeem and Khalid Ziya have said that having Shahid Khan Afridi as Brand Ambassador of KPL is propitious with his presence as the delegate will definitely glorify KPL, they further said that they offer their greetings to Mirpur Royals Franchise’s owner Dr. Abdul Wajid on becoming another addition to Kashmir Premier League, and they have shown keen interest for under his ownership the team will perform much greater in Season 2.

During addressing the press conference Shahid Afridi has said that on becoming League’s Brand Ambassador he is grateful to the management of KPL and he further said that he’s standing with the citizens of Kashmir and for the noble cause he is always up for it, he has chanted the League’s slogan “Khelo Azadi Se” and referred this as a memorable monument of unity between people of Pakistan and Kashmir.
