ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Communications Murad Saeed Thursday accused the opposition parties for conspiring to overthrow Prime Minister Imran Khan on the whims of the western world.
“When Prime Minister Imran Khan challenged Europe and made it clear that Pakistanis are not a slave nation, this slave gang is mobilized to overthrow the government,” said the minister in a statement.
He said that after every few months, the opposition’s gang of thugs gathers and starts the circus.
“From the day Prime Minister Imran Khan’s government was formed, the opposition chanted that he would not get a vote of confidence due to insufficient numbers. But they were faced with shameful defeat,” he added.
Murad said whether it were elections in Gilgit-Baltistan or Azad Kashmir, budget approval or legislation for electronic voting machines, the right to vote for overseas Pakistanis or any key legislation for the country, PTI has succeeded.
“The opposition has always opposed the legislation whether it is related to FATF as PTI wanted to save Pakistan from being blacklisted or any key issue. Â This gang of dacoits has literally fulfilled the prediction of the Prime Minister that when legal action is taken against the thieves, they will all unite in order to safeguard their corruption,” he added.
Calling Bilawal Zardari as a ‘Parchi Chairman’, Murad said that legs of the PPP leader were shivering when he rached Islamabad.
“When Prime Minister Imran Khan reduced the prices of petrol in the public interest, Shahid Khaqan Abbasi objected, justifying his criticism as when the price of petrol is increasing in the world, why it is being reduced in Pakistan,” he argued.
He said the main issue of the opposition is Maqsood Chaprasi who had 375 crores in his account.
“Very soon you will all be in jail,” he warned the opposition.
He said Imran Khan became the ambassador of Pakistan on Kashmir and he raised Kashmir dispute in the United Nations General Assembly. He said Khan also emerged as the spokesman of the Islamic World when no one was ready to speak.
“PM spoke on Islamophobia, highlighting the issue of the Muslim Ummah related to the blasphemous caricatures. As a result, today the presidents of Canada and Russia are talking about Islamophobia. Allah has given Pakistan the honor of leading the Islamic world,” he said.
“Six days from today, all the leaders of the Islamic world are coming to Pakistan. Isn’t this a victory of Pakistan?” he argued.
Murad Saeed said that when Nawaz Sharif went to India for personal business, he did not meet Hurriyat leaders but met all Indian business friends.
“Jandaal was invited to Pakistan without visa while he invited fascist Modi to his granddaughter’s wedding. Zardari goes to the US and tells the CIA Director to carry out drone strikes we will tackle in Pakistan,” he added.
Referring the Wikileaks cables, Murad said that Fazlur Rehman also begged the then US Ambassador to give him a chance and he will serve the US more than Nawaz Sharif and Zardari.
“The world respects independent leaders and nations and not the slaves,” he concluded.
