Former KP governor’s house looted for cash, bonds, gold

Rs300,000 in cash, prize bonds and gold worth Rs420,000 taken from former governor's house

The household of Ali Muhammad Jan Aurakzai, the former Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) governor was burgled in Rawalpindi on Monday, wherein cash, prize bonds, and gold were looted from the premises.

The family was held hostage at gunpoint. According to reports, the robbers took Rs300,000 in cash, prize bonds and gold worth Rs420,000 from his house.

A case has been registered against the robbers, and the police have begun conducting raids in nearby areas to track down the robbers.
