FAISALABAD: As many as 10 people were killed in two separate rain-related incidents in Faislabad on Tuesday.
Heavy rains lashed the city and its surrounding areas last night, as a result of which the roof of a three-room house in Tandlianwala town collapsed.
Among those who died were a woman, her three minor sons, and two daughters and an 18-year-old boy. Two more family members sustained serious injuries.
The second incident took place on Abbaspur Road in which the roof of a house collapsed following a thunderstorm, killing three siblings. Four other people of the family including two girls were injured during the mishap.
The injured were shifted to the hospital for treatment.
