According to Farooq Ahmad, the strong winds and rainfall led to a range of emergencies, including collapsing roofs and walls, uprooted trees and falling billboards. The rescue data covered incidents reported over the last 24 hours.
The figures released by Rescue 1122 showed that Faisalabad recorded the highest number of injuries among the districts mentioned, while Lahore reported the highest death toll in the latest weather-related incidents.
The rescue service also listed lightning strikes among the causes of injuries, with Dera Ghazi Khan reporting three injured people in two separate cases.
Across the affected districts, the incidents reflected the impact of severe weather on homes, public spaces and roadside structures. Rescue 1122's account included casualties caused by walls collapsing near residential or urban areas, trees falling during high winds, and signboards and solar panels coming down in storm conditions.
