ISLAMABAD: Former chief justice of Islamabad High Court (IHC) Sardar Muhammad Aslam passed away due to coronavirus on Monday.
The late judge was undergoing treatment at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Rawalpindi where he had been kept on a ventilator for the past few days. His funeral prayers were offered in Kahuta.
On May 7, IHC Chief Justice Ather Minallah’s secretary had tested positive for coronavirus.
On April 14, a member of Chief Justice of Pakistan Gulzar Ahmed’s staff had also tested positive for Covid-19. The CJP and his family were also later tested for the virus and the result was negative.
