LARKANA: A teenager died due to extreme exhaustion after being chased and harassed by patrolling police here on Friday night.
According to family sources, 13-year-old Ghulam Mustafa, hailing from village Arzi Bhutto of Larkana left the house for a walk after dinner when the police noticed he was alone. The police began harassing him so he ran away from them. However, they chased the youth for a long time until he reached home.
Father of youth Mehar Ali, a resident of the area, told media that the boy collapsed as soon as he entered his home and died on the spot.
Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Larkana, taking notice of the incident, directed the authorities concerned to probe into the matter.
