RAWALPINDI: Injured in operation against suspected terrorists in Hayatabad Peshawar last week, Lance Naik Zafar Iqbal succumbed to injuries and embraced martyrdom.
According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the funeral prayer of the martyred soldier was offered at Peshawar Garrison.
Besides Peshawar corps commander, a large number of military and civil officials attended the funeral prayers of Lance Naik Zafar Iqbal.
The body will be taken to his native town Khushab where he will be laid to rest with full military honour.
