LODHRAN: A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped in Lodhran’s Qutabpur area Tuesday.
According to a report in the local media, the father of the five-year-old girl launched a complaint at the police station in which he stated that his daughter was playing outside her home when an unidentified accused abducted her. He alleged that the culprit took her to a nearby field where he assaulted her. The father added that when he and other people went looking for the girl, they found her in an injured state in the fields.
The victim was immediately shifted to the local hospital where the medical reports confirmed that the girl had been sexually assaulted.
The father demanded that police arrest the culprit and punish him severely for his heinous crime.
The police registered a case under sections 367 and 377 against the accused and started an investigation.
