LAHORE: A five-year-old girl was allegedly raped by her neighbour on Monday in Batapur area of Lahore, police said.
According to details, 20-year-old Umair Ali allegedly assaulted the girl after taking her to an empty house. Police said that the suspect, a factory employee, fled after the mother of the child reached the spot.
Officials said that Ali and his family had gone into hiding by the time a police team raided their house.
