A man killed his wife and two children based on advise from a spiritual healer in Khanewal district on Monday, a local media outlet reported.
The man, identified as Shaukat Ali, visited Multan to discuss problems with his faith healer who told him to murder his wife and daughter in the name of ‘honour’.
Shaukat killed his 55-year-old wife, 17-year-old daughter and nine-year-old son when they were asleep. However, his 11-year-old-son woke up and fled the scene.
Police soon reached the crime scene and arrested Shaukat.
A case has been registered against him and investigations initiated.
