The Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has been delaying payments related to the Orange Line Metro Train project (OLMT) to the Punjab University (PU), a local media outlet reported on Saturday.
The payments are related to the use of approximately 305 kanals of university’s land with the registrar having written three letters to the LDA director general to obtain payments.
The payments have not yet been given, however.
According to LDA spokesperson Sohail Janjua, the issue of payments to PU is sub-judice and the court will decide over the matter.
