ISLAMABAD: The Drug Regulatory Authority of Pakistan (DRAP) was directed by National Health Services (NHS) Caretaker Federal Minister Mohammad Yousuf Shaikh to ensure that life-saving drugs were available in the market.
NHS’s 26 ancillary departments were also asked in a meeting chaired by the minister to submit reports pertaining to their issues.
NHS Director General (DG) Dr Asad Hafeez said, “As the minister is also looking after some other ministries so he directed to submit reports and he will take appropriate decisions.”
“Hopefully reports will be submitted to him in a few days,” the NHS DG added.
